Happy Birthday to My Brother!

40 years ago today, a very individual, unique soul entered this world. My brother, James. He is a character in his own right. He makes me laugh a lot, he used to frustrate me to no end (I guess it helps to get older in that regard) and I really miss having him and his family around--that's really my fault, since we moved away. After Mom died, and before we moved to Utah, we used to hang out with them a lot! We went to Disneyland with them, played games, and just hung out. I loved having that opportunity to get to know my brother better--as an adult instead of as a little girl being annoyed by her older brother. So, today he celebrates his 40th year--and I am miles away! I can't put 40 trick candles on his cake, or show up at his party wearing black with a bunch of Over the Hill balloons, I can't even give him another chicken (I gave him a chicken related gift for every birthday or Christmas for several years)--although I tried to find a chicken e-card, but they just weren't very fun. What I can do, however, is tell the world that he is awesome, and I love him tons, and show a bunch of fun pictures of him.

Happy Birthday, James!!

Okay, so it was me who James kept his hair long for because I love the curls. But after looking at that Lagoon ride with Robert, Ray, and and your dad, he looked way too much like Fraiser! Thank goodness he cut his hair!

We miss having you guys here too. I have a lot of fun memories of those days we'd have a game night or just hang out.

I have no Lagoon pics! Would you send me some?

Actually, I lied. I do have some Lagoon pics but could you send me some anyway? :)
